<< class descriptions
Whether you are an Acupuncturist, Nurse, Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, Massage Therapist, Naturopath, Medical Doctor, or any other healthcare professional, the skills you learn in this workshop will enhance and complement the work you already do with your patients. This class, also a pre-requisite to the Cranio-Sacral Certification Program and Core Level and Elective courses, introduces the basic Cranio-Sacral techniques and provides the analytical understanding of the related anatomy and physiology, including the core link between the cranium and sacrum, the cranial wave, and the individual cranial bones. In addition to the important technical and analytical learning, students will practice techniques to develop sensitive hands, an open heart, and the inner stillness needed to apply this work. At the end of this class, students will have the foundation for the cranial therapy, including: the theories, the personal presence, the ability to perceive the cranial rhythm, and the hands-on techniques for working with cranial bones. Student Comments:Dear Ursula, The sacredness of the cranial sacral workshop still remains with me and touches my clients in miraculous ways. Your presence in holding that space was a gift. Oh why is not all bodywork taught in such a way. I loved it, thank you, Ursula. ~ M.C., Introductory Workshop, 2005 This course will positively impact what I do. I can get back to being soft and gentle, use more intuition, and save my thumbs! ~ P.B., Introductory Workshop I want to thank you again for the magnificent Introductory class. You were right when you said that whether we used Cranio-sacral or not, our practices (actually my life) would be transformed by listening and being present in an expanded way. ~ C.B., Introductory Workshop<< class descriptions |
